Dishonored 2 - award winning action-adventure stealth video game

Dishonored 2 is a video game that may be categorized as stealth game, in fact one of the best PS5 action-adventure games with stealth elements. Maybe I would be more exact saying that it was published for PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC - but it plays very well on new toys, and I can confirm that on my new PS5 game console is running smoothly. Despite the fact that it was released in 2016, the game is still worth playing, especially if you buy into the gaslamp fantasy style of the video game. It is also a beautiful game, with deep characters that deserve to be explored, in addition to a steampunk aesthetic that may not be on everyone's taste. Interesting enough, the game was released by Bethesda Softworks and it was a great success.

In the prologue, gamers are playing as Empress Emily Kaldwin, but after that they have to decide between Emily or Corvo Attano (the former bodyguard, for those that are used with the characters from the previous Dishonored video game). The impact that Emily had on players at Dishonored, which changed how the title is being played, made the programmers to decide to keep her story and making it thicker - a good decision, after all that improved the storyline. Though this meant moving the timeline combined, Arkane didn't need to go too far for fear of dropping the series mojo. It seems they measured right, as the result is close to perfection.

Praised were the improvements made since the first videogame: the more challenging stealth, the adaptability of Emily and Corvo's abilities to both their play-styles, the art management, the imaginative style of individual assignments, the realization of this game's universe, as well as the replay-value along with the artificial intelligence. In my opinion, if you want to play a genuinely interesting adventure game, a game that make you think, than you won't find a better choice. It was a hit at its time, one of the PS4 games that were so much praised by critics and users alike, and it remains among the top contenders in the stealth action-adventure category.

There are two or three unique levels in Dishonored 2. Much was made of the smart Clockwork mansion, and there's a time-shifting level that is a lot like Titanfall 2's time-shifting degree (though not as great). The time-swapping mission locks off all of your abilities, which makes it considerably less enjoyable. In general, this isn't that large a hardship, as for all Dishonored 2's gameplay alternatives, it seems most geared toward play. My main playthrough as a stealthy, nonviolent Emily clocked in over 15 hours - and although I sometimes found myself needing more character development at the overcrowded story, I was never for a moment bored with the otherworldly abilities of my agile assassin.

Because it is not longer a new title, chances are you will get this game much cheaper than others, so if you are into buying cheap PS5 games, than an older, but still playable PS4 title may be a valid option. As mentioned, I played the game on PS5 and it was amazing. Despite the fact that I played it previously, I still enjoyed reconnecting with the beloved characters of the game. Do not forget that having two main characters with different abilities, is like having in fact two types of gameplay, equal two games or at least two different experiences within the same game.

Dishonored 2 Definitive Edition contains the Dishonored game and extra content, like Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and Void Walker's Arsenal..This would probably be the best choice, as both games are award-winning games, between them having 100+ awards and mentions.
