Death Stranding an amazing open-world action video game

Death Stranding is the first release from famed Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and his development studio Kojima Productions since they parted ways with Konami after MGS 5. It is, then, quite a big deal, and the fact that nobody had a clue what the game actually was for years after it was first announced only added to the hype. This beautiful open-world action video game by Kojima is a must buy cheap ps4 game for fans of the genre.
Ever since Death Stranding was announced at E3 back in 2016, gamers have been intrigued and excited at the concept of Hideo Kojima making a Triple-A quality game free from the corporate shackles of Konami and beyond the shadow of Metal Gear. Much like Quentin Tarantino's love of anachronistic film music and casting actors long past their heyday in major roles, Kojima has no interest in fully removing players from the mindset that Death Stranding is still a video game, despite couching its presentation in the entirety of cinema's toolkit, including an impressive and singular collection of Hollywood faces from both sides of the camera in the cast. Still, if Sam being, essentially, a one-man FedEx wasn't so deeply tied into the thematic structure of Death Stranding, the man who made his career on military stealth games making his magnum opus based around one-day delivery would feel like the ultimate troll, and it's a known fact by now that Kojima isn't above such a thing. In a previous interview with TIME, Kojima related his experience with loneliness and isolation with what the game will make players feel. At a time when video games can finally look like movies as much as movies have started to look like video games — when people like Kojima and James Cameron are working towards similar ends with many of the same techniques — Kojima has created a bizarre masterpiece that doesn't just blur the line between these mediums, but also illustrates the power of knotting them together. It might have been nice to allow players to play their own tracks, a bit like Metal Gear Solid's tape player - if an item like this does exist in the game, we haven't found it yet - but generally when a track kicks in as Sam solitarily trudges across the huge landscape, it makes for a beautiful and immersive experience. It is a shame that you can't find this game title on xbox one games list, but you can have it for PC and PlayStation.
I suspect they will break most players, particularly those used to the systemically dense experience of Kojima's Metal Gear Solid games. Kojima calls Death Stranding a "new type of action game" focused almost exclusively around the broad theme of making "connections." You play as Sam Bridges, a man trying to reconstruct a post-apocalyptic America, while tethered to a portable fetus (called BB) who aids you in avoiding invisible spirits (called BTs). At a time when there's a robust debate as to what is or isn't cinema and the value of franchise works, Death Stranding” is a bold statement about what a video game can be. In the hands of Kojima — the mastermind behind the Metal Gear” series — a video game challenges, confuses, inspires curiosity and only succeeds if you meet the designer halfway. Kojima and his team devote Death Stranding's first 10 hours to breaking up the walking gameplay with melodramatic cutscenes that seek to explain the game's world. The AAA game from Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid series) has built up a lot of hype, and confounded expectation of what a mass market game should look like - and although we've played through the story, we've purposely omitted the majority of narrative details from this review to keep it as spoiler-free as possible. Being the first game from Hideo Kojima as an independent creator and under its Kojima Productions hat, Death Stranding promised to bring a whole new way and feel in gaming and judging by reviews, it certainly delivers. When we take a look at the list of new ps4 games, probably this one stands out from the crowd as the most unexpected.
Is this one of the best ps4 games? It could be, for some... Death Stranding from Hideo Kojima has been officially reviewed and the scores are in. While it was certainly one of the most anticipated games, it got some mixed reviews. The official soundtrack of Death Stranding is composed by Ludvig Forssell , who previously worked with Kojima on Metal Gear Solid V. Death Stranding: Timefall is an original album inspired by the game, featuring music created by artists such as CHVRCHES , Khalid , DJ Lazer, and more. Outside of a handful of moments where the player's avatar would be engaged in some kind of combat, the gameplay was exclusively demonstrating Norman Reedus walking across vastly empty frontiers, up mountains, down rivers and that's it. Regardless of review ratings, every outlet has recognized this vapid gameplay as a major and unavoidable component in Death Stranding and dynamic gameplay is the most important aspect of a video game.
