Top 3 Arcade Racing Games (August 2021)

If you like arcade racing games, there are some very good titles that you can play right now. The usual suspects are always at the top, and the latest releases of Forza Horizon or Project Cars are better than ever. Project Cars 3 was quite a surprise, because we were expecting a sim racer. Instead, developers break with the tradition and come out with a simcade that is more arcade racer, than sim. In my opinion, the top 3 arcade racing games are:

  • Forza Horizon 4
  • Project Cars 3
  • GRID

Let's check them out in detail.

Forza Horizon 4

Playground Games, a British racing game studio, is the developer of the Forza Horizon series, including Forza Horizon 4. The company is made up of veterans who have worked on well-known series such as Burnout or Colin McRae. Forza Horizon 4 is one of those driving games that you will enjoy even if you are not a fan of the genre. It is more than a racer, it manages to give you a nostalgic feeling and relax you. Its beautiful scenery and the exhilarating driving make it a top pick. The cars are well-recreated, and it leaves you feeling good. You will play for hours this game that is never boring. At all times you will have something to do or to see. I guess we can add this title to a list of the top Xbox Series X racing games, as it is a beautiful game that is played by a lot more people than car enthusiasts. Forza Horizon 4 does view cars as beautiful machines and more. They are metaphors for beautiful adventures and freedom.

Project Cars 3

Project CARS 3 is a racer so fundamentally different from its immediate forerunners it's bordering on unrecognisable. It abandons the sim automobile racing sensibilities and adopts a radically different driving sense and a brand new career mode mostly composed of snack-sized automobile racing and driving challenges. There's never a time when it seems like an actual sequel to Job CARS 2. If you're looking for a sequel, Project CARS 3 is not the game that you are searching for. Project Cars 3 is one of the best PS5 racing games. This third release in the franchise's history will make happy all arcade racing video fans, but will let down all who appreciated the sim side of the video game. So overall, Project CARS 3 is a pretty solid game with a lot to offer. It is worth noticing the abundance of cars you can race with on over 140 distinct tracks and layouts.

GRID

GRID reflects what you can expect from Codemasters' racing releases. It is extremely addictive and friendly with new users. If you are a player without too much experience racing, this arcade racer is a good option. Much of the love and development has been put into the driving experience. There are no complexities when it comes to game modes and settings. GRID lets you go right on to driving, and this is great for newbies. The game lacks complex settings and has no game modes. It offers a single-player campaign in which you race to the top at multiple circuits. This includes a wide variety of car-type-specific events as well as highly-customizable multiplayer and free racing. GRID is the best introduction a newbie will have to the world of racing games. Simple, fun and addictive - GRID.
