Two Resident Evil games that you will love

The Resident Evil franchise is very well known for its horror video games. As I am a fan of such games, I played them all. Some were better than others, and today I will tell you a little about two that are my favorites now. Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 7. Please note that I do not say they are the best, but only they are my favorite Resident Evil games so far. I also did not have the chance to play the Resident Evil Village, but I am going to.

Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 2 quickly forces me to return to my 1998 ways of playing the game. The same strategies work with the remake:

  • Run if you can
  • Conserve ammo
  • Hack zombies whenever you can

It is not a bad recipe and you can follow it you will be successful. If you have a knife and you want to kill a zombie you should stab it until you are 100 percent sure he will not come back to life. Even if there are better weapons than a knife, it is great when you can hack a zombie with a knife.  The gameplay is awesome and I enjoy Resident Evil 2's combat very much. The story is enjoyable too, a little better Leon's narrative, but I will say it is not the strongest point of the experience. Instead combat is great as well as the exploration. If you want to play a classic survival horror game, Resident Evil 2 is very good.

Resident Evil 2 is a horror classic

This game title is wonderful, probably one of the best PS5 horror games out there! It truly makes you feel scared. Capcom did a fantastic job of resurrecting all of the best portions of the classic Resident Evil 2 and making them look, sound, and play like a modern game. This is the main reason why I enjoy remakes (even if some are not successful). You get to experience a classic on new devices. To me, this is the best proposal, better than trying to play an old game on an old rig. It gives me the experience, without the trouble and frustration.

Resident Evil 7

Resident Evil 7 is my favorite and it is an important game of the series because it ditches the third-person perspective for the better and more appropriate first-person perspective. I can now experience the horror even better, in my opinion as it was supposed to be. Resident Evil 7 is genuinely the greatest horror game of the series I've ever played, so far. The music is simply amazing and it adds to the atmosphere. I become very nostalgic whenever I return to this game (that I played and finished several times). It is understandable from such a truly amazing game. I adore the first-person and shooting and combat feel much more natural. I also like how it goes through so many distinct phases to give the player more chances to end up discovering something they enjoy.

Resident Evil 7 is the real deal

RE 7 possesses the Saw style and a series of timeless Resident Evil details that improve the game. For example, when you are fighting off monsters, you will discover a very interesting mechanic. You can end up expanding the world, returning if you still have uncovered goals there, unlocking new locations, making advancements by solving fantastic puzzles, and more. Everything about this horror game title is fantastic and I can easily say it is one of the best Xbox Series X/S horror games you can play today. Anyone who hates this game probably does not understand it. You should not listen to people's complaints, RE7 is one of the most rewarding terror adventures ever.
