Oddworld Soulstorm - a platformer that has never looked this good

It was a long wait, but the fans of the Abe's odyssey/exodus may be happy as they can re-discover the beautiful world of this iconic platformer franchise. Oddworld Inhabitants just released their latest game Oddworld Soulstorm. A franchise which started on the PS1 needs a strong come back and for this they need us all who love Oddworld to support them. It is an indie game, among the best indie games we may find. It worth to support the developers and buy Oddworld Soulstorm, as we all have something to gain. We receive a solid game and we provide the developers some independence and a way to finance their dreams and ambitions.

Oddworld: Soulstorm is an excellent remake of a superbly bizarre '90s platformer with tons of charm and quite challenging and addictive. This sequel is the great place to begin, a nice introduction in the world of Oddworld. It is a PlayStation and PC game, so those looking for PS5 games may go and buy this great platformer. It seems that an upcoming quintology is close, so new fans should start from somewhere. Even if the story pick up where "New 'n' Tasty" left back on 2014, it is in fact a re-imagination (and technological update) of 1998's "Abe's Exoddus". Categorically, most areas received a huge improvement over the previous Abe's Exoddus, as we are two decades after, but some things may be still improved, like the sound design.

Oddworld: Soulstorm  has some challenging puzzles and great atmosphere. The universe they imagined is indeed exciting, rich and distinctive. It is an amazing experience after such a long wait, so I highly recommend this game to all fans of the series and to anyone that’s a fan of action platformers. Fans of the original Abe’s odyssey will feel right at home playing this new interpretation of the story. One significant theme to Abe's pursuit was saving his fellow Mudokons. Players may sneak and leap down or over to some other platform to stay quiet or hide. There are times when it will act as though you aren't in stealth mode and alert your opponents - probably small bugs that will be ironed. But the joy of playing a traditional platform game with such a long history is very fulfilling. I have to say that I enjoyed every second with Oddworld Soulstorm.

After starting the console game, Oddworld: Soulstorm does a great job reminding players of what occurred in the past iterations. Soulstorm opens with Molluck's attack on the Mudokon camp, with Abe sprinting through clouds of shrapnel and splintering timber while hundreds of Mudokons scatter to the winds. Your mission (Abe's mission) will be to save as many as possible. Easier said than done. For the next 16-18 hours, you will play an amazing campaign (which with extras may go up to 35-40 hours of gameplay). It is impressive under this aspect, with plenty of content and nice replayability. So if you want a cheap PS5 game that will keep you hook up for hours, than Oddworld Soulstorms is a good candidate. Oddworld Soulstorms is one of my favorite games. Can’t wait to see what the people over at Oddworld Inhabitants come out with next.
