Darksiders Genesis - co-op fun with a hack and slash action-rpg game

Darksiders Genesis is a hack and slash video game with action-RPG elements, developed by Airship Syndicate and released by THQ Nordic in 2019-2020 for Windows PC, Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Despite the fact it is a prequel and we have only two from the four Horseman of Apocalypse, Darksiders Genesis is one of the best ps4 games and xbox games released lately for the fans of the genre.
Darksiders Genesis provides a ton of enjoyment for both returning players and those new to the series, and feels more like an evolution of the Darksiders formula than a simplification of it. It's a fun action-adventure game that builds upon the lore of the series in a way that works pretty well, with interesting combat mechanics and an addictive upgrade system that gave me a good 20 or so hours of playtime. Darksiders Genesis PS4, definitively a game to buy.

Darksiders Genesis Story

While it does have a few setbacks in areas such as its story, the stellar combat, great levels and an extremely likable and welcome main character in the form of Strife easily put the game within the best of the genre. The story in Darksiders Genesis is really nothing to write home about, but it's these light bouts of conversation between the two horsemen that kept me engaged with what's going on. Strife's persistent quipping is the perfect way for the series to poke fun at its previous oh-so seriousness. We like to play with Strife, as it is able to keep crowds of attackers at distance (he has a gun, where War brings a sword to the gunfight...) Within the new ps4 games of this kind, Darksiders Genesis is a co-op game, and I believe this bet will be a winning one.

Switching between Strife's twin-stick shooting and War's powerful sword swings remains as fun at the beginning as it does at the end, and this is a game, much like the first two Darksiders titles, that I can see myself returning to time and again. Most importantly, though, is how Genesis manages to be just as fun at the start of its solo and co-op campaign as it is at the end thanks to a wide variety of enemies, well-thought-out character progression, and smart level design that encourages and rewards thorough exploration of its expansive environments. We really love to buy cheap ps4 games like this one, especially when they are just released.

The Darksiders series is getting a new spin-off entry called Darksiders Genesis, a Diablo-style action role-playing game, from developer Airship Syndicate. All in all, though Darksiders Genesis is a refreshing jump into a world of soul gathering that's so fun to play at times you forget that you're playing a top down hack and slash game.. The game manage to capture your attention and you will enjoy playing it single-player or co-op.
