Onrush adrenaline-fueled off-road arcade racing
If you've been looking for a game with a unique twist on arcade racing where you drive cars, motorcycles and off-road vehicles, Onrush dishes up exactly what you have been looking for. In fact, it is the draw of customizing your racer, their dance, their gear and your car's look that keeps you wanting to play ONRUSH, for each and every race sees something new for you to marvel at. With zero cash-fed micro-transactions to worry about, and only in-game cash available to spend for those who prefer a quicker customization hit, Codemasters (F1 2019, Dirt Rally 2.0 xbox one and ps4,...etc.) have to be applauded in the well thought out way they have gone about the progression systems. Sadly, controlling vehicles in any one of Onrush's eight classes feels uninspiring and fails to provide any satisfaction, which is hard to forgive considering gratifying vehicle handling should be the first box that is ticked in any racing game.
The main features missing from Onrush (traditional racing games modes and deep vehicle customization options) keep it from being truly amazing. It's riotous fun in single-player but also shines in multiplayer, an area where racing games can often feel completely inaccessible, with novice or even intermediate racers often trailing the pack, unable to do much more than observe the race ahead. ONRUSH's high-impact, adrenaline-fueled off-road arcade racing delivers speed, takedowns and teamwork with high-tempo thrills to create a racer that focuses on fun, excitement and the spectacular. The best racing games for ps4 and xbox one have such features like the ones presented.
It had two maps, two modes, and four vehicles in comparison to the full game's whopping twelve maps with dynamic time and weather conditions, four unique modes, and eight customizable vehicle classes - all enjoyable in either online play or the Superstar campaign. She also explains the overall mechanics and concepts used in ONRUSH without pausing or interrupting the action - it leaves a great first impression for Codemasters new racer as you begin to get to grips with the vehicle handling, boost and of course, Onrush ps4 and xbox one, which is the last thing you'll be introduced to in the short 2-minute tutorial. I highly recommend Onrush if you are looking for a racing game with innovative gameplay modes, offers a unique twist and is just plain fun to play.
Developed by the ex-Evolution Studios team (the same team that brought us Motorstorm and DriveClub ) now working at Codemasters, Onrush is an arcade racer looking to stand out from a growing number of racing titles in recent years by completely removing the finish line. ONRUSH is one of the best racing xbox one games and playstation 4 video games.
As an arcade racer, Onrush is a neat distraction, one that lets you pummel opponents and boost to your heart's content. Although ONRUSH is a multiplayer focused game, there is a singleplayer campaign of sorts, which pits you against 23 AI racers, but can be played in online co-op mode too. To add variety to the gameplay Onrush does offer 10 different locations and almost as many different vehicles to race with, with two motorbikes and five cars.
In Onrush, you're racing around a 'track' alongside teammates and enemy vehicles, accruing points by beating the other team in four nominally different modes that, in the end, boils down to forcing them to crash. The focus on vehicles aside, the notion that Onrush is not a racing game (for all its appearances) is a very important one— so much so that the game makes sure to tell players outright in the tutorial. I still wish there was at least one traditional racing mode available in Onrush, but I understand why Codemasters avoided it. What's here on display is a wonderfully unique racing title, to the point that I'm not even sure I can call it a racer. But it is a racer and probably one of the best xbox one games out there! The main features missing from Onrush (traditional racing games modes and deep vehicle customization options) keep it from being truly amazing.
